celebrates 10 years of the finest Bar-B-Que on the

generous portions of pull-apart pork, beef brisket,

half chicken. Delicious spicy baked beans, famous

Remember those days of Flip-flops, Bobbie socks,
Rock and Roll, a slower pace of life, piling
into the car and going out for ice cream.
That’s what it is all about at the Flashback
old fashioned ice-cream parlor. Gooey hot fudge
sundaes and great chocolate malts are few claims
to fame at this Seaside favorite.
The Flashback Malt Shoppe staff are each a
milkshake-maker extraordinaire. You will learn
the true meaning of a Flashback malt, and it
doesn't have anything to do with soft ice cream.
Starting with a tall, heavy malt glass, they
add cream and ice cream (I chose chocolate),
then they “muddle" it, breaking it apart with a
spoon a bit by bit process. More cream is added,
as well as big portion of malt and chocolate
syrup, resulting in the best old-fashioned,
tasty malt, complete with sipping straw and long
silver spoon. Malts at the Flashback will knock
your Bobbie socks off! |
