- there are a number of hiking trails in the area
including the designated National Wild and Scenic
Tillamook Head Trail. This 8 mile trail cascades high
above the ocean from Seaside to Cannon Beach, through
old growth forests, to secluded beaches and coves. Or
explore the Necanicum Estuary, just a few blocks
from the house, where the river meets the ocean and home
to many birds and marine life.

The Blue Heron House is located in the resort
town of Seaside, on the Necanicum River, 5 blocks to the beach, near the
city center, and has an outdoor 6 person hot tub. It is a peaceful setting
where blue herons and other marine life are frequent visitors to the river
shore. 3 Bedroom 2 full baths, Den and large Living room, Kitchen and full
outdoor deck.
